previously titled "Anyone play Magic the Gathering?"
Figure that should be good enough a header for a general discussion with a m11 limited focus (because that is the most recent set)
it's funny, I used to think that 1W for a 1/2 with W,T; tap target creature was jank, but given that the m10 and m11 limited experience is good enough, and that blinding mage is a common in both sets, it has won plenty of games, with the ability to be 'constant' removal.
heck, getting one out against a guy with the cyclops gladitor is basically the only way I could have won one game.
um...
yeah.

it's been a longish time, and a few sets have come out.
i should slap a letter to my head to not do this thing again.
because.... i forget otherwise.
also, to attach a note to scan the forums before I make a new thread.
edit: .... having actually looked at the list of threads again.
I am a broken record. |

I think it's like the difference between Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood or Neon Genesis Evangelion and Neon Genesis Evangelion 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.
It's basically the same thing but by giving Barbie the hat the fans always wanted her to have they will buy the latest Barbie once again and love her for it. _________________

@MrNibbles
I suppose, but they don't really rename the game.
It's more like a different episode in an arc for a story, with each block being an episode.
.... and a set being a bit more of the block then an episode is of an arc (just because an arc generally gets at least 6 episodes, and a block maxs out at 3)
also, what misc games have people been playing? |

Not much lately, tabletop wise. Though my ARMY MEN!! minis skirmish game about little plastic army men is almost ready to start playtesting.
And I have a Power Rangers/Super Sentai-inspired BESM campaign almost ready to go.
And my Necromunda gangs are coming out of storage for repair/cleanup and finishing.
And my magic cards have come out of storage, as there is a new FLGS onyl aboot 40 minutes from my home that is pretty cool, with magic being the dominantly played game. |

Steveman, that reminds me, I need to look at some BESM source books at some point.
and vidya games kinda count for the purposes of the redirected thread.
Hell, started playing D2 again, and got a druid to act 5 in ladder hardcore. |

Thoughts on EDH format?
I just recently learned of it as it is the primary casual format played at the new gamestroe about 45 min away from my home.
I run a Red/White/Blue Numot the Devastator deck. It seems to be doing well enough. I get stomped by black a lot. But overall it does well. |
