For a little while now, I've felt like the website isn't receiving much attention these days. It's made me question the need to maintain it. The hosting costs to keep it running at its current location, with the current features, are pretty steep. I post most of my art also on deviantART, so it's not like I really need the website gallery right now. The forums are fairly desolate as well.

So, I'm being blunt here. If you enjoy viewing my works here, and would prefer me to keep running the website as usual, please consider making a small donation, to help with the costs, or to just generally show you fancy my works here. You can find the PayPal donation button on the right side (on the 'Main' page). Any amount will help!

Now, this doesn't mean that "I'm bringing down the website tomorrow if you don't give me moneys nao!". The website is actually being paid for another year already, so this is just to gauge how much support there is for keeping it running. In the end, it's all been out of my pockets so far. If there is enough of support, then expect the website to get better updates in future as well!

In any case, thanks for visiting the website, viewing my works and using the forums so far! And thanks if you help out with a donation. ^_^

I moved the PayPal button up, so it should be easier to notice now. Let me know if it doesn't show up or something. It should be above the lists of Latest Comments, Latest Forum Topics, etc.

And a little clarification, even if the website remains quiet, I'm not planning on bringing it down entirely (I want to keep the hitmann.net domain), but I may need to consider going for a simpler setup at a cheaper host. Basically, simplified forums (less sections) and possibly a simpler gallery system for the website. I should be able to drop the expenses to 1/3 of the current.

Roughly the price of three commissions. And I only have so much time for commissions. >_<

And it's not really the hosting I pay for, but the quality of the service that comes with it. Quick customer service, efficient security, daily backups, php and mysql up-to-date, statistics, control panel... you name it. Not all hosts have these, and no other has managed to go on around the year without unannounced downtimes. I can halve the expenses but definitely lose some of the features I have with this host.

Won't be able to donate due to the fact that I just bought a ticket to America and back home again.
Also, if you'd only have to host a forum, you'd be able to buy one for about 10-15$ per year which supports phpBB.
